Program

7.30 - a departure from the Dnieper from the railway station by tourist bus. 9.15-9.30 - arrival at the Rubanovsky temple. On the way, the guide-guide will tell an interesting story about the first settlers, about how the widow of the court centurion Ivan Vasilenko - Ekaterina Vasilenko built the Red Church in the middle of the 19th century (the 1850s), and then, having visited Jerusalem, started the construction of the convent of the Icon of God Mother "Sign" and soon left worldly life and became a nun, becoming abbess in 1906. Now, the Znamenovsky Monastery still towers over the village and headquarters, glorifying God and impressing with its grandeur, peace and bell ringing. We will also learn about the local "kobzar" Ivan Manzhur, his difficult life and hear the legend of Tremsyn Bogatyr. How will we spend our time? Everyone is at their discretion, at their own choice. 9.00-11.00 - a service is held. Then Father Vasily leads interesting spiritual conversations. Those who wish can modestly, but tasty, dine in the refectory. From 10.00 o'clock Ivan Manzhura's estate museum is open: an old thatched hut with objects of ethnography of that time, a barn, and a farmstead. Animals are waiting for you in their zoo corner, swans and ducks on the lake will not mind if you treat them to something tasty. After walking along the alleys of the autumn park, you can go to the steps that will lower you into a mysterious stone grotto with a spring flowing into a small reservoir at the bottom of the grotto. Here you can sit and enjoy the virgin silence, and draw water from the spring. The path will take you outside the park and along the lake, there are many picturesque places where you can lay a rug and have a picnic. Or have a meal on any bench with your products, if you do not go to the refectory. Also do not forget to visit the literary shop, and think about eternity near the graves. And, of course, you can buy honey, propolis, pies and other simple rural products from the market near the temple complex. 13.00 - transfer to the village of Znamenovka (15 minutes on the way). Visit the Znamenovsky Monastery. Usually, nuns are happy to acquaint visitors with the monastery and its history, icons, and iconostasis. The territory is very well-groomed, there are many flowers and greenery, and there are also gardens, and raspberries - the inhabitants of the monastery themselves grow vegetables for their living. You can take a walk to the local headquarters with Shevchensky willows, which tilted their branches over the water. 14.15 – departure. Estimated arrival in the Dnipro - 16.00-16.15 hours.
