Free train for Ukrainians to Germany from Poland: how to buy a ticket Przemyśl - Hannover
In December, Ukrainians will be able to travel from Poland to Germany for free. The humanitarian train will depart from the border town of Przemyśl. The final stop is Hannover.
How to buy a ticket?
You do not need a ticket, registration card or any other document to board the train. It is enough just to come to the appropriate platform in Przemyśl some time before the departure of the train.
Features of boarding the train
When boarding the humanitarian train, priority will be given to certain categories of citizens:
• persons who have a bracelet from the Polish Red Cross;
• families with children;
• elderly people;
• citizens with disabilities.
The rest of the passengers will have the opportunity to travel for free, if there are still seats on the train.
What to do if there is not enough space on the train?
There are cases when there are more people willing to go on the humanitarian train than there are seats in the carriages. If you do not have enough space, please contact the volunteers at the railway station. They will accommodate you in a humanitarian center in Przemyśl and provide you with a special bracelet that will guarantee you a seat on the next flight.

What to do after arriving in Hanover?
Upon arrival in Germany, you will be met by volunteers who, at your request, will help:
• get to Hanover main station, get a free ticket, and continue your journey to another destination;
• stay in Hanover in a refugee camp. You will be taken to your place of residence by bus, you will receive a place to sleep, food, humanitarian aid, consultation on the preparation of documents and translator services. A free bus runs from the camp to the train station every day at 10:00 and 12:00.
