The Ministry of Reintegration reported that IDPs need to contact the social protection authority to receive social benefits in a timely manner. As explained, such a need arises if IDPs have changed their registration address in the Diia application.

How to resume payments?

Internally displaced persons need to contact the social protection department at the place of actual residence, which was registered in Diia.

You do not need to submit a new application - payments will be continued, taking into account the previous application, which indicates the first registered address of residence. To do this, the employees of the institution will send a request and receive the registered case.

Important! Financial support for living expenses will be accrued for all months - even for those when it was not paid.

We would like to add that the Ministry has recognized that the issue of automatic assignment of payments needs to be finalized. It is expected to be resolved by the end of April.

Services for IDPs in Diia

Last year, the app launched features that allow IDPs to change their place of registration (if they moved to another city in Ukraine) or cancel their IDP status (if they returned home).

These services are automatic and easy to use:

 log in to the Diia portal;

 select the service "Revocation of IDP status" and fill in the necessary data;

 check the application and certify it with an electronic signature.

We remind you! Since the beginning of the full-scale war, a huge number of Ukrainian citizens have been forced to move from their hometowns and villages to other parts of the country, radically changing their lives. Currently, 4.8 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) are officially registered in Ukraine. However, the actual number of IDPs is many times higher.
