  • In a daily speech, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the Russian media, which broadcasts propaganda, and promised to bring to justice all those who commit war crimes and spread lies. The President also addressed the people of Ukraine and announced the launch of a program to rebuild cities that were damaged during the military aggression by Russia.

  • Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk announced a successful evacuation in Kyiv region. Civilians were finally evacuated from residential buildings that were damaged, from cities that had been under fire for more than a week, where people were constantly targeted by the occupiers. About 20,000 people were taken out of Bucha, Irpin, Vorzel, and Gostomel to Kyiv in the past 24 hours. In particular, 52 children from the Baby House and 55 women from the maternity hospital were evacuated from Vorzel. The situation in the southeast of the country is much worse, shelling, terrorism and starvation continues in the town of Volnovakha. Residents are in need of humanitarian assistance, but Russian troops occupying the city have made it impossible to build humanitarian corridors for five days.

  • The southeastern city of Mariupol has been under siege by Russian soldiers for the ninth day. The occupiers are shelling residential areas of Mariupol. According to the city council, half a million people are without electricity, water, heat and communication. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also said that Ukraine had proposed a humanitarian corridor to and from Mariupol, as well as a ceasefire for at least a day to address the humanitarian problems of civilians. The Russian side did not agree.

  • Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, said that in temporarily occupied Berdyansk on the shores of the Sea of Azov, the enemy was forcing journalists to broadcast Russian propaganda under machine gun fire. Oleksandr Starukh also stated that the same occupiers threat shelling, collect personal data of correspondents, keep civilians in fear. The head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration added that in Melitopol, the Russian military is bringing in sham humanitarian aid with sham actors who are allegedly being given food and medicine. Earlier, Berdyansk was seized by Russian forces, and residents are suffering from food, drug and gas shortages, communication disruptions and systematic terror, accompanied by constant shelling.
