From now on, you can receive compensation for damaged housing through Diia under the eRecovery program. Ukrainians whose homes have been damaged due to hostilities can apply in the app and receive funds for repairs.

How can I get compensation for damaged housing as a result of hostilities?

The maximum amount you can claim is UAH 200,000. These funds can be spent on construction materials or services of contractors participating in the program.

Please note! eRecovery service is available if the housing is subject to restoration and has not been fully repaired.

Receiving financial assistance under the eRecovery program: what you need to do

In order to receive funds for repairs, you must:

- report the damaged property in the Diia app;

- open a specialized eRecovery account in one of the banks participating in the program;

- fill out an application for assistance in the Diia app, check it and send it for processing.

Please note! From now on, those who do not have Diia or a smartphone will be able to apply for funds for repairs. To do this, you need to contact the Administrative Services Center or the social security authority in your community. They will help you fill out the application.

For more information on who can receive a payment from the state to repair damaged housing, follow the link.

Important! If the home has co-owners, they must agree to participate in the program.

After that, the local authorities will send a commission to inspect the damaged property, record the damage, and determine the amount of compensation.

The funds will be transferred to the eRecovery card. They must be used within 12 months from the date of receipt.

In addition, program participants have the opportunity to receive bonuses. In particular, PrivatBank and MonoBank have started issuing eRecovery cards for crediting the aid.

MonoBank

According to MonoBank founder Oleg Gorokhovsky in his Telegram, the bank has added a 5% cashback on all expenses with the eVostok card.

The service is activated automatically during the first expense.

In addition, on August 1, MonoBank will select one of the clients who opened the eRecovery card and received a payment from the state and will give him a two-bedroom apartment in the Ukrainian city chosen by the winning client.

In order to receive a payment of up to UAH 200 thousand and a chance to win an apartment, you need to be the owner or co-owner of the damaged property, open a Monobank eRecovery card and apply for a payment in Diia.

How do I open the eRecovery card through MonoBank?

You can also open the card from a message in your statement.
