HELP

The main activities of the Sabotage and reconnaissance group and other exiles or traitors of Ukraine during the war include the sowing of panic among the civilians, which achieves by terrorist attacks, and so on. The SES has repeatedly warned that there are cases of scattering of objects filled with explosives in crowded places, bomb shelters. These can be mobile phones, children's toys, bags and backpacks, and other unsuspecting items.

In addition, the enemy is constantly bombing, resorting to missile strikes and other types of shelling, which can lead to unexploded ordnance. Also, due to active hostilities in various parts of Ukraine, the chances that a civilian will get a weapon are not illusory. What to do if something like this happened to you?

SUSPICIOUS ITEMS (SUSPECTED EXPLOSIVE)

Instruction from the MES of Ukraine:

1. DO NOT touch, DO NOT move a suspicious object;

2. Mark with a stick, stones, clothes, bag, anything the place where you found it;

3. Loudly warn nearby people about the item. Make sure everyone is about 100 meters away from the object;

4. Call 101/102 or write to the messengers of the police or MES (https://web.telegram.org/z/#-1152058353) and report the finding.

Remember! You can't use a mobile phone or any means of communication near a suspicious object!

5. Wait for the relevant services to arrive and dispose of the suspicious object. Be careful!

It is important to remember that even the slightest impact can contribute to detonation: shake, shot, heat, friction. You can find this not only in settlements, directly in the ruins, but anywhere, even in nature.

UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE

A special website has been created in Ukraine with advice on what to do. There's a photo database of what these things might look like and detailed tips on what to do:

1. DO NOT approach, DO NOT touch the body or any object! Even if you can't recognize what you've found, don't look around, but quickly move to a safe distance (up to 100 m) and make sure other people do the same;

2. If you saw up close - mark the place with any object, take a picture of the item;

3. Notify the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the State Emergency Service (tel. 101/102) or leave a request on the mentioned website https://www.ukraine-cat-uxo.com/report-your-uxo ;

4. DO NOT wait for the services to arrive. It may take some time.

Remember! It is not allowed to smoke, light a fire, carry out work that shakes the ground, water it, fill it up or cover it with anything.

WEAPON

From March 3, 2022, all Ukrainians are allowed by law of the Verkhovna Rada to use weapons against the invaders, even without proper permission (Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Participation of Civilians in the Defense of Ukraine" (https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/2114-20#Text ). However, if you do not know how to use it, do not belong to the ranks of territorial defence or the Armed Forces, but are an ordinary civilian, you better immediately report the weapon to the police (102), or contact the available representatives of the area.

If you do decide to keep the weapon and use it to protect yourself from the aggressor, remember that you will need to hand over the "trophies" to the National Police with all available ammunition no later than 10 days after the martial law is lifted.
