Expansion of available checkpoints for the import of military goods

Amendments to the Resolution No. 1057 of November 17, 2010 provide for the expansion of the list of checkpoints across the state border through which military goods and nuclear materials are transported. Now, military goods, including those coming from partner states, can be freely transported through all open checkpoints.

Benefits and purpose of the changes

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine emphasizes that the adopted amendments will help companies that ensure the defense capability of the state to avoid complications due to force majeure circumstances related to the blocking of checkpoints when moving goods.

This, in turn, will optimize the logistics of military supplies, save time and money, and ensure a continuous supply of necessary materials for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is extremely important during the war.

Remember that to leave Ukraine in a car with Ukrainian registration, you must have a Green Card insurance policy. It is mandatory in 46 countries, including the EU. Without such insurance, the car will not be allowed to cross the border! In addition, the absence or delay of insurance is fraught with not only fines that are several dozen times the cost of the insurance policy for a year, but also the seizure of the car and deportation from the country with a subsequent ban on entry. You can take out insurance for the required period on our website. Read more about the amount of fines in Europe for not having a Green Card here.

We remind you! Starting from July 10, 2024, new customs control rules for Ukrainian carriers will come into force on the border with Poland. Read what documents and requirements you need to fulfill to successfully cross the border in our previous article.
