IDPs from the Crimea and Sevastopol are entitled to cash payments on an equal basis with others
The question of receiving financial aid has not lost its relevance and the order of payments is constantly changing. In August, the state made changes to the regulations and the list of communities whose residents have a legal right to financial assistance.
Citizens who have received the status of IDPs through registration in "Diia" or by approving this status in local Administrations receive payments from the 1st of the month following the one in which this status was assigned.
Residents of Crimea and Sevastopol can receive IDP status in the same way as resettlers from temporarily occupied territories. And this means that monetary payments will also be made on general principles.
We would like to remind you that according to the legislation, the state pays financial assistance to the following categories of citizens:
• displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories (including Crimea and the city of Sevastopol);
• to displaced persons from territories where military (combat) actions are taking place or which are blocked (surrounded).
In addition, financial support can be provided to citizens who, as a result of hostilities, were left without a home or it became unfit for living. For this, it was previously necessary to submit an application for reimbursement of expenses. Attention! The application deadline was valid until May 20, 2022.
