The Ukrainian sky and Ukrainian borders remain open

Too much fake, unverified and openly provocative information has appeared in recent days, and especially in the last 24 hours.
Visit Ukraine is closely monitoring the situation 24/7 to broadcast only true and official news from government sources.
As of the morning of February 14, the borders of Ukraine remain open to all Ukrainian and foreign citizens, as well as the Ukrainian sky for flights.
And we have gathered some clarifications:
1. Ukraine has not introduced an entry ban for citizens of Russia and Belarus. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, news that citizens of neighboring countries have stopped entering Ukrainian territory are rumors. Every day, dozens of foreign nationals are denied entry to Ukraine for various reasons. Read about the basic requirements for entry into Ukraine for foreign tourists in our article – Entry Rules to Ukraine: Recommendations from VisitUkraine.Today.
2. The news that the world's largest insurance companies are suspending insurance for aircraft for flights in Ukraine's airspace for 48 hours has led to rumors that flights to and from Ukraine will be suspended for a day. In the evening of February 13, 2022, a working meeting was held with the participation of the leadership of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, UkSATSE, Boryspil International Airport and Ukrainian airlines on the situation in the air transportation market. As a result of the meeting, a number of solutions were worked out to prevent further aggravation of the situation. In particular, Ukraine is making financial commitments for the safety of aircraft in Ukrainian airspace and is beginning to guarantee the financial obligations of leasing companies with real money.
Allocated funds – UAH 16.6 billion – cover insurance cases for at least 23 aircraft.
