Entry of Ukrainian citizens to mainland Portugal by any means of transport, including visa-free travel until October 31, 2021

The requirement to provide:

- certificates with a negative test result for COVID-19 by the method of nucleic acid amplification (NAAT, for example, a PCR test), made no more than 72 hours before entry (does not apply to children under 12 years old); or

- certificates of the results of a rapid test for antigen to COVID-19 (TRAg), made no more than 48 hours before crossing the border (does not apply to children under 12 years old); or

- Ukrainian digital COVID-certificate on the full course of vaccination with the vaccine Janssen (COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), generated in the Diia app; or

- European COVID certificate - EU DCC (paper or electronic version).

Attention! Portugal does not accept paper Ukrainian vaccination certificates.

To enter, you also need to fill out the Passenger Locator Card - https://portugalcleanandsafe.pt/en/passenger-locator-card and get a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the EU

Entry to Madeira is allowed for citizens of Ukraine for any purpose, including tourist travel without a visa.

To arrive on the islands of the Madeira archipelago, all passengers, regardless of the country of departure, must fill out an online form on the platform www.madeirasafe.com, it is also mandatory to retest if the traveler does not have a certificate issued by an authorized medical institution in accordance with EU requirements, with a negative PCR test, which is done within 72 hours prior to the submission of the document, or if the traveler does not have a European COVID certificate. Testing on arrival is also not required for children under 11 years of age (provided they show no signs of illness) and those who have received a full course of vaccination against coronavirus in accordance with the EU / WHO recommendations (see the list of vaccines for more details at https://www.madeira.gov.pt/Covid19/DecisoesExcecionaisCovid19), or have a document that they were sick with coronavirus for a period not more than 180 days before arriving in Madeira and have fully recovered.

To arrive in the Azores, all travelers are required to fill out an online form on the https://mysafeazores.com platform, and it is also mandatory to retest if the traveler does not have a certificate issued by an authorized medical institution in accordance with EU requirements, with a negative PCR result - a test that is made within no more than 72 hours before the presentation of the document, or if the traveler does not have a European COVID certificate. Testing on arrival is also not required for children under 12 (provided they show no signs of illness).
