Ukraine's counteroffensive on the Deepstate map: what is known about the new stage at the front and the latest advances of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the south and east of the country?
The Western media are actively reporting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have moved to a new stage of counteroffensive. Find out how the situation at the front has changed, what settlements have been liberated in recent days, and what indicates a new stage of the Ukrainian offensive
On July 27, the Western media began to actively report that Ukraine had moved to a new stage of counteroffensive. In particular, Bloomberg, citing an anonymous American official, wrote that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had become more active in the south, and the offensive itself had begun to gain new momentum. In addition, The New York Times, citing two Pentagon sources, reports that the Ukrainian General Staff has informed the United States that a new phase of the offensive has begun south of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region. The next phase was also reported by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and CNN, noting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had passed the first line of defense of the occupiers. At the same time, the Ukrainian government reports some successes in the south of the country, but does not specify what exactly it is.
So, what the map of the fighting looks like now, what is happening at the front, and what exactly is called the "new stage of the counteroffensive" - we will tell you further in the article.
Eastern front: liberation of Staromayorske village
On the evening of July 27, Ukrainian soldiers of the 35th Brigade together with the Arius territorial defense battalion recorded a video message in which they raised the Ukrainian flag in Staromayorske and announced the liberation of the village from russian invaders. The Ukrainian government confirms this fact, as Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar announced the de-occupation of the village in their evening addresses.

According to some experts, the liberation of Staromayorske is a very important step for the further breakthrough of the front. Currently, the settlement is being cleared.

Southern front: what indicates a new stage of the counteroffensive?
According to russian "military officers," the Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through the defense in the northeast of the village of Robotyne, 10 kilometers from Orikhiv. Deepstate's map shows some activity on the contact line, but there has been no confirmation from the Ukrainian authorities.

In addition, according to some reports, Ukraine has reinforced its military groups in the south of the country and brought reserves and equipment into action, which were still waiting for the demining of the territories to begin an active breakthrough on the front and divide the russian troops into two parts. It should be noted that the creation of a corridor in the south will sever russia's land connection with the occupied Crimea and make the peninsula accessible to artillery.
At the same time, some analysts say that the recent events may not be the beginning of a new stage, but a maneuver to gain an advantage in another part of the front.
We previously discussed why the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to move very slowly here. However, if the breakthrough of the first line of defense south of Orikhiv is confirmed, further events could develop quite rapidly. The success of the Ukrainian fighters is also encouraged by the fact that russia has suffered serious blows to its rear infrastructure, which led to the destruction of large stocks of ammunition and, accordingly, disruptions in its supply to the front.
We believe in the titans of the Armed Forces and victory!
We remind you! The mistakes made by the West affect not only the level of training and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also the pace of the counteroffensive. Read about the West's failures, described by British expert Jack Watling, and how they affect the outcome of the offensive in our previous article.
