Minimum wage increase in Poland in 2024: what is known
For Ukrainian workers who have settled in Poland, this initiative will be an additional incentive, as more than 80% of them are engaged in work that does not correspond to their qualifications.
However, in 2024, thanks to the doubling of the minimum wage, even those who receive the minimum wage will have higher incomes. This means that their salaries will be on par with those of Poles.
As you know, this is the seventh year in a row that the minimum wage in Poland has been raised twice a year - on January 1 and July 1.
In 2024, the minimum wage for employees with employment contracts will be:
• from January 1, 2024 - PLN 4,242 (UAH 3,353) gross (before deductions);
• starting from July 1, 2024 - PLN 4,300 (UAH 36850) gross.

• PLN 27.7 (UAH 237) gross from the beginning of the year;
• PLN 28.1 (UAH 240) gross from July 1, 2024.
According to preliminary estimates, about 3.6 million workers will benefit from the increase in the minimum wage in Poland. This means that a large number of people will feel the positive impact of this decision on their financial situation, and it will be an important step towards improving the quality of life of a large number of workers in Poland.
