Ground transportation has been launched in Kyiv from the out-of-service blue metro line: new routes
Inhaltsübersicht
In connection with the temporary suspension of the blue line of the Kyiv metro, the KCSA has taken measures to ensure efficient transportation for city residents. In particular, new ground routes for buses and trolleybuses have been introduced to provide connections between Demiivska and Teremky stations
The restriction of traffic between the Demiivska and Teremky stations of the blue line of the metro has caused significant inconvenience to residents and visitors of the capital. In this regard, the Kyiv City State Administration has introduced new bus and trolleybus routes in the city, which provide connections between stations that are temporarily closed for repairs.
It is noted that there are currently 77 buses and 20 trolleybuses operating in the city, which follow specially designed routes that reproduce the route of the closed section of the metro line. This decision became necessary due to the planned repair of the blue line stations, which, according to preliminary estimates, will last for six months.
In addition, the following routes were introduced:
- Temporary bus route No. 2-M "Cybernetic Center - Teremky metro station - Lybidska metro station", which was introduced. Lybidska", which operates 77 buses with a 1-minute interval.
- Temporary trolleybus route No. 43-K "Cybernetic Center - Lybidska metro station", which runs every one minute. Lybidska", which runs 20 trolleybuses at 3-minute intervals.

In addition, the bus route No. 38 now runs to the Lybidska metro station, and the number of trolleybuses on the route No. 50K "Myloslavska Street - Darnytska Square" has been increased to ensure transportation efficiency. From now on, 5 buses operate on this route with an interval of 17 minutes.
Also, on the trolleybus route No. 50k "Myloslavska Street - Darnytska Square", 10 trolleybuses now run at 9-minute intervals.
It is important to note that in addition to this, urgent work is underway to organize a separate lane for public transport on Vasylkivska Street and Lybidska Square, and the launch of this lane is scheduled for December 11.
Such initiatives are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted transportation for city residents during the period of repair work on the subway.
