Šumava National Park, Czech Republic


The Šumava National Park is the true green heart of Europe. Located on the border with Germany and Austria, it impresses with its pristine beauty of mountain ranges, dense forests and clear lakes. A holiday in Šumava is not only an opportunity to enjoy nature, but also to learn about the rich history of the region by visiting numerous castles and monasteries.

The mountain range is 140,000 metres long, and the highest point is Mount Plechi, which reaches a height of 1,378 metres. Most of the area is covered by forests, home to deer, elk and other rare animals and birds.

The largest national park in the Czech Republic offers many opportunities for outdoor activities: hiking, cycling, skiing, and wildlife watching. And for those who prefer a relaxing holiday, there are comfortable hotels and cottages surrounded by picturesque landscapes.

The distance from Warsaw to Szumawa is 811 kilometres. The journey by car will take approximately 8 hours and 39 minutes.

The route passes through major cities: Czestochowa and Katowice in Poland and Ostrava and Brno in the Czech Republic.

Warnemünde, Germany


Warnemünde is a resort port town near the city of Rostock in Germany. Nowadays, it is a popular resort on the Baltic Sea that has grown from a small village.

Warnemünde is located on the western bank of the Warnow River, where it flows into the Baltic Sea. It is a resort town famous for its mild climate, warm summers and moderate winters.

The main attraction of Varnemunde is its wide sandy beaches. Here you can sunbathe, swim, do water sports or just enjoy the sea breeze.


Narrow streets, old houses, the church of St Otto - all this creates a unique charm of the old town.

We also recommend visiting the Maritime Museum, which tells about the rich history of the city, and the Port of Warnemünde, which is one of the largest in Germany. Here you can watch the moored yachts and fishing boats.

You can get to Warnemünde from the port of Rostock, located on the right bank of the Varna River, by crossing the river either by ferry in the Hohe Dune area or through the underground Varna Tunnel (A105).

Sunny Lakes, Slovakia


Sunny Lakes (Slnečné jazerá) is a real paradise for lovers of water activities and outdoor recreation. They are located near the town of Senec, just 25 kilometres from Bratislava, in the west of Slovakia. These lakes have been attracting tourists from all over the country and neighbouring countries for many years.

Neringa, Lithuania


Neringa is a unique sandy spit that stretches along the coast of the Curonian Lagoon. It is one of the largest and best-preserved sandy isthmuses in Europe, a national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Näringa is known for its picturesque landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and unique cultural heritage.

Car insurance for travelling abroad


Remember that all vehicles travelling in Europe must have a valid Green Card insurance policy.

The Green Card is a mandatory international motor third party liability insurance policy that covers the costs of compensation for damage caused to life, health and property of third parties as a result of an accident in the territory of the member states of the international Green Card agreement. There are fines for not having this insurance.
