Where should foreign tourists visit in Lviv?

Bandinelli Palace

The exquisite palace is located in the very centre of the city, and according to documents, it is currently a department of the Lviv Historical Museum. It was here that the first post office of the classical European model was founded in 1629. At that time, the owner of the building was a Florentine merchant, Roberto Bandinelli, who received Lviv citizenship. The building is now named after him. The palace is made in the Gothic style with elements of classicism and baroque, and experts call it a monument of the late Renaissance. Therefore, art lovers should definitely see the monument with their own eyes.

Anyone interested in the theme of palaces can book a suitable tour to travel around the entire Lviv region. In one day, you will be able to see five palaces that will amaze your imagination.

High Castle

Lviv residents often recommend visiting the High Castle Park, located on Castle Hill. The park is not a natural monument, but a human creation - it was planned by the city's chief gardener Bauer in 1835. Today, the park is recognised as a national treasure and is included in the nature reserve fund of Ukraine. The High Castle is the highest point in the city above sea level - 413 m. (Visit the castle in the late afternoon when the city lights come on).

Don't be afraid of heights: the ascent to the park is long, but not steep; everyone can visit the High Castle!

When booking a hotel, keep in mind that tourists without a car will only be able to get to their destination by minibus, trolleybus or taxi. There is no metro in Lviv.
