A trip from Kyiv to Dnipro on the H01 highway is a great opportunity to discover unique and interesting places. Along the way, you can make stops to relax and get to know the history, nature and culture of Ukraine.

We'll tell you what places to see without going too far from the motorway.

Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi

The Lopukhin-Demidovs' estate is a vivid example of how a person can interact harmoniously with nature. Here, the majestic branches of the Ros River, rocky rapids and Mount Yantalka are perfectly complemented by an oriental-style palace, cosy manor houses, elegant bridges and picturesque parks.

Also not far from the town of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi is a museum dedicated to one of the key events of the Second World War - the Battle of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi. In the museum, you can learn about the battles that played an important role in the liberation of Ukraine.

In addition to its historical value, the city of Korsun is surrounded by picturesque landscapes: the Ros River, granite cliffs and forests, which create ideal conditions for a stopover and a short rest.

Karashyna

The village of Karashyna is located near Korsun-Shevenkivskyi, where you should definitely visit for the long suspension bridge over the Ros, the cute weather station house on the rock, and the Fourth Noise rapids, one of the most turbulent obstacles on this river.

The place will be convenient to visit as it is located near the main road.

Smila

There are many attractions and interesting cities in the Cherkasy region. One of them is Smila, where you can see several old buildings that in the current district centre remind you of the patriarchal town of the Cherkasy district.

These include the local history museum, the Intercession Cathedral and the Church of the Assumption.

Kholodnyi Yar

Nature and history lovers should make a stop at Kholodnyi Yar, a historic forest in the Cherkasy region. This place is associated with the struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence, starting with the Cossacks and ending with the partisans of the Second World War. Here you can see the famous Kalnyshevsky Church, the Maksym Zalizniak Oak, and enjoy walks along the shady forest paths.

Alexandria

In the centre of Oleksandriia, you can see how the county town looked like in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The buildings of the men's and women's gymnasiums, a Jewish school, a theatre, a school, a city administration and merchant houses have been preserved here. However, the firehouse with a tower decorated with a clock stands out the most.

The road from Kyiv to Dnipro is not just a journey between the two cities, but a real adventure that can be supplemented with interesting stops. You can find more interesting places in our tour bank, which contains about 800 different offers for an exciting holiday.
