Cash withdrawals without commission and special offers: Polish banks have extended preferential conditions for Ukrainians

Some banks in Poland have extended preferential terms for refugees from Ukraine. In particular, it is about canceling the commission for servicing accounts and cards, withdrawing cash from all ATMs in the country and abroad, including in Ukraine. We tell you which banks have special offers.
Bank Pekao allowed Ukrainians to withdraw cash without commission
The bank announced the extension of the special offer, which includes zero commission for servicing accounts, cards, cash withdrawals from all ATMs in Poland and abroad, including Ukraine, for another year.
Pay attention! The offer is valid for 2 years from the date of conclusion of the contract.
In addition, the bank continues free transfers to and from Ukraine until the end of 2023 for all bank clients.
Santander - free access to a personal account
The promotional offer is valid only until the end of April 2023. The bank offers free access to a personal account with a package of services for citizens of Ukraine:
- zero commission for transfers to/from Ukrainian banks,
- exemption of corporate clients (konto firmowe) from fees for maintaining a company account in zlotys,
- for maintaining the company's account in foreign currency,
- for the company's debit card for accounts in zlotys and foreign currency,
- for servicing corporate cards issued from March 1, 2022.
PKO Bank Polski possibility to withdraw cash without commission
The bank extended the special offer until the end of June 2023. It offers Ukrainians the "Borderless Account" program, which is serviced free of charge for one year. To open an account, it is not necessary to specify a residential address in Poland and a Polish phone number.
In addition, the bank canceled the commission for quick transfers to Kredobank and for foreign transfers to any Ukrainian bank.
VeloBank canceled the commission for servicing accounts for refugees from Ukraine
Until the end of June, this bank will not charge a monthly service fee for cards and accounts in Polish zlotys, euros, dollars, pounds sterling and Swiss francs.
Ukrainians can also deposit and withdraw cash free of charge at bank branches and from payment accounts of the bank for citizens of Ukraine - in zlotys and foreign currency. In particular, it remains possible to make transfers to Ukraine without a commission.
Other banks in Poland will service the accounts of Ukrainians within a year from the moment the account is opened or until the end of February 2023.
