The defense forces need specialists of various professions, including civilians. Find out which positions in the army Ukrainians apply for most often and which positions in the Armed Forces do not require combat experience
General mobilization in Ukraine continues, but at the same time, the number of people who want to join the Armed Forces by choosing a branch of the military and a position is increasing. And one of the ways to do this is to search for vacancies on job search platforms that cooperate with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It should be noted that such platforms are currently looking for not only specialized professionals with combat experience, but also people in civilian professions who are in great need of the army.
Here are the positions in the army that receive the most responses from Ukrainians, based on the analysis of Work.ua.

Top most popular positions in the army without combat experience
According to the portal Work.ua/zsu, they received more than 15 thousand responses to various vacancies in a month. Most of them are responses to non-combatant specialties, the so-called civilian positions that ensure the full functioning and support of the army in the rear. So, which vacancies are the most popular among Ukrainians?
Clerk
The duties of a clerk may include various tasks, so depending on the unit, this person is responsible for receiving, registering, maintaining, processing, storing documentation and archives.
Candidates for this position are usually expected to be highly organized, attentive to detail, and responsible. At the same time, as a rule, higher education and experience in a similar position will be an advantage, but are not mandatory for candidates.
Possible salary: 20,000 - 125,000 UAH.
Accountant
The list of accountant's job responsibilities may also vary depending on the department: accounting, reporting, payroll, sick leave, compensation, etc.
The most common requirements for candidates are higher education in finance, experience in a similar position, knowledge of accounting legislation, and the ability to work with Excel spreadsheets. In addition, candidates are expected to be punctual and have a high attention to detail.
Possible salary: 17,000 - 55,000 UAH.

Cook
The job responsibilities of a cook are quite obvious - of course, it is to provide food for military personnel. At the same time, cooks in the army have to prepare food according to recipes and standards, as well as taking into account dietary restrictions and specific military requirements. In addition, their responsibilities will include controlling food quality and safety, as well as controlling food stocks, ordering food, etc.
Candidates for the position are required to have a valid medical record, experience as a cook, good physical fitness and the ability to cook delicious food. At the same time, specialized education is desirable, but not required.
Possible salary: 20,000-125,000 UAH.
UAV operator
The job responsibilities of UAV operators may vary depending on the unit. They can perform tasks to detect and destroy enemy targets, as well as observe and detect intruders on the state borders of Ukraine. In addition, the army needs fire controllers.
The requirements for candidates include good physical fitness, willingness to work in a combat zone and motivation to destroy the enemy. Basic knowledge of flying copters, understanding of meteorology, navigation, topographic maps and digital terrain models, as well as knowledge of the basic principles of photography are considered an advantage in the vacancies.
Possible salary: 20,000-125,000 UAH.
Driver
Different departments require different types of drivers, and some vacancies also look for electricians, mechanics, and crane drivers. Job responsibilities include driving a car, maintaining its good technical condition, and delivering people and cargo on time.
The requirements for candidates may vary: they must have one of the categories (or more) of driving licenses B, C, D, CE, know the traffic rules, Ukrainian road routes, and the structure and technical capabilities of vehicles. At the same time, military service experience is usually not required, but will be an advantage for the candidate.
Possible salary: 20,000-130,000 UAH.
