Earlier it was reported that from July 9 to July 24, NPC Ukrenergo would measure the actual level of consumption in each region, which would give Ukrainians 1 day without any power outages. However, according to the company, the "day without outages" has been canceled.

Read this article to find out how to check the schedules of outages in different regions of Ukraine.

Reason for the cancellation

A significant power shortage in the power system and increased consumption due to the heat wave forced Ukrenergo to reconsider its plans. Initially, it was planned to cancel the restrictions for each region on a specific day, but due to numerous requests from regional power distribution companies, the measurements during this period were canceled. This is primarily due to the fact that in such conditions, regional power distribution companies will not be able to comply with the principle of uniformity of consumption restrictions when conducting measurements in a particular region.

Schedule of blackouts for July 9

On July 9, the restrictions will be in effect throughout the day for all regions of Ukraine:

– From 05:00 to 14:00 - regional power distribution companies will apply 2 stages of outage schedules.

– From 16:00 to 22:00 - 4 stages of outage schedules.

– At other hours - 3 stages of outage schedules.

Future plans

Routine measurements in the summer will be carried out later, when the situation in the power system stabilizes and the air temperature drops. It should be noted that the measurements are necessary to ensure a more even and accurate distribution of the available power in the system between the regions. In addition, the measurements allow us to objectively assess the needs of the regions and ensure more efficient use of available resources.

We remind you! The electricity situation in Ukraine remains difficult. In some regions, power outages exceed the schedule norms. However, Ukrenergo reports that the situation may improve soon. Read our previous article to find out when to expect a reduction in schedules and what the situation in the power system is now.
