Evacuation of children announced in Donetsk region: what is the reason and where to turn to
The danger level is rising in Donetsk Region due to the ongoing war. In this regard, the regional authorities have announced the forced evacuation of children. Find out which towns and villages fall under the decision of the relevant authorities
Due to an increase in the danger level in Donetsk Region, children from several towns and villages are being forcibly evacuated. We would like to tell you which settlements fall under the evacuation and where to turn to in this regard.
As stated in the message of the Ministry of reintegration of temporarily occupied territories, the relevant decision was taken by members of the Coordination headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law.
How and from which areas will children be evacuated?
Children will be evacuated with their parents or other legal representatives. We are talking about evacuation from populated areas of Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts of Donetsk region to safe regions.
According to the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Vadim Filashkin, children will be evacuated from the following towns and villages:
- Myrnograd;
- Marinovka;
- Mikhailovka;
- Lysovka;
- Novogrodovka;
- Luch;
- Moskovskoye;
- Balagan;
- Mykolayivka;
- Mirolyubovka;
- Malinovka;
- Novoekonomicheskoe;
- Konstantinopolskoe;
- Ostrovskoye;
- Selidovo.

In addition, at a meeting of the regional commission for emergency situations in Donetsk Region, a decision was taken to carry out a forced evacuation of children from settlements that are 10 kilometres closer to the line of demarcation.
Such evacuation is planned to be carried out within 60 days. A reception centre has been deployed to carry out the evacuation.
It is reported that in safer regions, the evacuated children together with accompanying persons will be provided with free accommodation, humanitarian aid, psychological support and the like.

To make an appointment in advance, the Ministry advises to call the hotline of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration: 0 800 408 911.
You can also dial the hotline of the Ministry of reintegration 1548, or write to the messengers of the Ministry WhatsApp/Telegram/Viber to the number: (096) 078-84-33.
