Temporary protection of Ukrainians

Sweden has activated the EU Directive 2001/55 / ​​EC on temporary protection.

Temporary protection applies to:

1 - citizens of Ukraine who lived on the territory of Ukraine as of February 24 and were forced to leave their homes due to the invasion of Russian troops.

2 - persons who have political asylum in Ukraine.

3 - family members of the first two categories (husband / wife) (including actual marital relations) and minor children, other close relatives, if they lived together and were dependent on a person from the first two categories.

Social security of temporarily displaced citizens of Ukraine

Border crossing without biometric passport

Temporary displaced persons from Ukraine are allowed to enter Sweden with a foreign passport, a domestic passport of a citizen of Ukraine or another identity document.

Crossing the border with pets
