If Ukrainians are going to Argentina to study, they need to apply for a student visa. The student visa expires upon completion of the study program.
What documents must Ukrainians submit to apply for a student visa to Argentina?
• Application form. You can download the form from the embassy/consulate website and fill it manually or fill it online and then just download it.
• Passport. The passport must be valid for at least another six months from the date you intend to leave Argentina. It must have at least two blank pages.
• Photocopies of your passport
• Showing personal details and any previous and current visas (and previous passports if required)
• Photo
• Air tickets or travel itinerary
• Confirmation of housing in Argentina
• Confirmation of the availability of sufficient funds to cover the duration of your stay, for example through bank statements to confirm availability of funds for accommodation and studies.
• Confirmation of the paid fee for a visa to Argentina.
For minors:
• Copy of birth certificate/adoption certificate/custody decision if parents are divorced/death certificate of one of the parents.
• Travel permit from parent(s) or legal guardian(s), legalized by apostille or at an Argentine consulate or embassy.
• Confirmation of enrollment at your educational institution.
• A criminal record certificate issued by the police authorities of your country.
Students are allowed to work part-time. Ukrainians also need to sign an employment contract with your employer so that he can sponsor their residence permit.
• Mente Argentina Scholarship Program. The scholarship program is for international students who have the appropriate academic background or financial need to study at a university in Argentina.
• Fulbright scholarship program. The scholarship program provides scholarships to American students who wish to study in Argentina. Scholars receive a financial grant and other academic assistance for the selected study programs.
• Memorial scholarships. This scholarship program is intended for foreign students who wish to enroll in the summer course of the chosen program. Successful applicants will receive a financial grant of $1,000.
