Tallinn, Estonia

Riga, Latvia

Riga has been and remains one of the most budget-friendly tourist destinations, but the cost of living in this city is also very affordable. Renting an apartment will cost you, on average, from 300 to 700 euros per month, and, for example, a hotel or hostel room will cost you from 15 euros per night. The cost of food here will also save your budget, even if you eat out. After all, the city has a large selection of various budget establishments: from street food to inexpensive restaurants.

After all, the price of rent in the tourist areas of the city starts from 350 euros per month.

Krakow, Poland

It's probably no secret that Poland is one of the most budget-friendly countries in Europe. And despite the fact that this country has become the main destination for Ukrainian refugees, the cost of living, in particular in Krakow, remains at a budget level compared to other European cities. Housing here will cost, on average, about 680 euros per month, and food about 10 euros per day.

It should also be borne in mind that Krakow combines not only affordable prices for accommodation, but also a well-developed infrastructure, a large selection of various dining options and many interesting places to visit. Moreover, a significant part of your leisure time in the city can be absolutely free, because Krakow has a rich history and beautiful architecture, and free events that are regularly organized in the city can be attended by everyone.

Prague, Czech Republic

For those who are looking for a city that is not only budget-friendly but also rich in history, culture, and architecture, Prague is an ideal option. In addition, the Czech capital has a large selection of restaurants where a full meal will cost you less than 10 euros. And if you buy food in supermarkets and cook on your own, you can save a lot of money on food.

Rent in Prague is slightly higher than in Riga or Tallinn, but a good apartment in the center will cost you up to 700 euros per month.

Lisbon, Portugal

The cost of living in Lisbon outside the tourist areas is affordable. This applies to both renting a home and spending on basic necessities, food, and transportation. However, living in Lisbon is more expensive than in other cities in Portugal. For example, a one-bedroom apartment in a small town will cost from 350 euros per month, and a two-bedroom apartment from 600 euros, while in Lisbon the cost of renting a home starts at 700 euros per month.
