Please note! Foreigners can obtain or exchange a permanent residence permit in Ukraine abroad in the following cases:
– theft or loss of a residence permit;
– the existing residence permit is unsuitable for further use;
– when a foreigner or stateless person reaches the age of 25 or 45 (provided that the existing residence permit does not contain a contactless electronic medium);
– when a person was unable to obtain a residence permit due to the full-scale invasion of the russian federation and the introduction of martial law in Ukraine.
In order to apply for a residence permit, a foreigner or stateless person must have a certified translation of his/her passport into Ukrainian and a previously issued permanent residence permit.
