Starting January 31, Ukrainians aged 40 and older will begin receiving invitations in the Diia app to undergo a free basic medical examination as part of the state program “Health Screening 40+.” This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

Who will receive invitations and when?

Invitations will be sent gradually via the Diia app. Citizens born at the beginning of the year will be the first to receive them. Already, about 1 million Ukrainians can see information about the program in the app.

The message will appear 30 days after the user's birthday in 2026. After that, the user will be able to confirm their participation in the program.

What does the “Health Screening 40+” program entail?

The program gives Ukrainians aged 40 and older the opportunity to undergo a free basic medical examination to help detect:

cardiovascular disease;

diabetes mellitus;

mental health disorders.

All examinations can be completed quickly and in one medical facility, without separate visits to a family doctor and without having to search for referrals yourself.

“During a full-scale invasion, this is especially important when there is no time or opportunity to visit doctors,” emphasized Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

Where can you get tested?

More than 640 medical facilities throughout Ukraine have joined the program. These are hospitals that meet the requirements for:

the qualifications of medical specialists;

the availability of necessary equipment;

the quality of medical services provided.

The list of institutions where you can undergo “Health Screening 40+” is regularly updated and available on the program's official resources.

How to join the program?

If you use the “Dii” app:

30 days after your birthday in 2026, you will receive a notification in “Diiia.”

After confirming your participation, UAH 2,000 will be automatically credited to your “Diia Card” within a few days.

The funds can only be used for the “Health Screening 40+” program.

If you do not use Diia:

30 days after your birthday, you can open a special card at a bank;

contact the Administrative Services Center (ASC), where they will help you register for the program and specify the account to which the funds should be credited.

“Health Screening 40+” is an opportunity to take care of your health for free, identify risks at an early stage, and do so as conveniently as possible, even in wartime. The program is designed to simplify access to preventive medicine for millions of Ukrainians.

Important to remember: to stay in any EU country, medical insurance with coverage of at least €30,000 is mandatory.
