Free medical care online in Poland: how it works and how to contact Ukrainians
The Polish Ministry of Health has decided to launch a telephone consultation system for medical assistance. The platform will work at times when inpatient facilities are closed.
Assistance will be provided free of charge, including in Ukrainian.
The teleplatform is launched so that citizens can get doctor's consultations, prescriptions for medicines, sick leave, etc., when inpatient facilities are closed according to the schedule. For example, at night, on weekends or on holidays.
What services can be provided within the framework of the system?
• medical consultation;
• electronic prescription;
• electronic direction to the doctor;
• electronic sick leave;
• referral for a Covid-19 test.
In addition, the service will allow you to receive consultations from a nurse and an obstetrician.
The system will work from Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 08:00 the next day. On weekends (Saturday, Sunday and holidays) - from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the next day.
Telephone of the teleplatform: 800137200 or fill out the online form (you can follow the link) - available only during system working hours.
We will remind you! Ukrainians can restore PESEL UKR and the right to financial assistance after returning to Poland. How to do it, read in our material.
Pay attention! Citizens of Ukraine can take out health insurance online even while abroad. To do this, follow the link and select the category Medical insurance.
