By bus from Norway to Ukraine


A fairly convenient and economical way to get to Ukraine is by bus. A direct flight from Norway departs at 23:59 from Oslo and arrives in Lviv at 11:55. The travel time is 35 hours. The price of the ticket is 200 euros.

Citizens of Norway have the right to enter Ukraine without a visa if the planned stay is less than 90 days. The purpose of the trip is also important - tourism, visiting relatives or other short-term trips, because working and studying on the basis of a visa-free visa is prohibited.

Entry is carried out on the basis of a foreign passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months after crossing the border. It is also necessary to provide the following package of documents at the border:

● health insurance policy;

● a document that would confirm the purpose of the trip – tourist vouchers, tickets to seminars, exhibitions, fairs, invitations from companies and organizations, hotel reservations, apartment rental contracts, etc.;

● confirmation of the availability of sufficient funds for travel in Ukraine - an average of $45 per person for each day of stay in Ukraine.

Importantly! As of July 1, all Covid-19 restrictions and quarantine measures have been canceled in Ukraine. Therefore, during border control, it is no longer necessary to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and to observe quarantine measures while in Ukraine.


How can a Ukrainian leave Norway and not lose protection?


Ukrainians have the right to travel to Ukraine without losing collective protection in Norway. Before leaving, make sure that your residence permit is still valid and, if necessary, apply for an extension.

If you participate in the integration program or receive social assistance from NAV, you should inform the commune and NAV about your absence before the trip.
