Information desks for passengers have been launched in the Kyiv metro: how to use them

Kyiv Metro has introduced an innovation - information desks that allow you to conveniently and quickly obtain the necessary information. This is an important step towards improving the service and comfort of the subway. Find out more about how passengers can get answers to their questions about using the subway and what other services are available at these desks

Information desks on subway platforms are now open for passengers to quickly connect with the information center. This was reported by Kyiv Metro.

To get information about the work of the subway, you need to press the call button and wait for a response from the center's employee.

Information desks for communication with the subway information center have been launched in the capital


Passengers can get advice on such issues as:


🔹station operating hours;

🔹fare payment;

🔹shelter at stations during air raid alerts;

🔹escorting passengers with limited mobility;

🔹baggage transportation;

🔹preferential travel;

🔹notification of the discovery of forgotten/left items;

🔹requesting an ambulance for a passenger;

🔹calling a station employee or the police in case of an emergency, etc.

The information desks also display a map of the subway lines, numbering of station exits, an exterior view of the station, a street map, and information about running ground transportation.


Such communication racks are located on the platforms of all metro stations, except for Hydropark, Livoberezhna, Chernihivska and Lisova stations.

At Dnipro and Darnytsia stations, they are located in the lobbies.

In connection with the temporary suspension of the blue line of the Kyiv metro, the Kyiv City State Administration has taken measures to ensure efficient transportation for city residents. In particular, new ground routes for buses and trolleybuses have been introduced to provide connections between Demiivska and Teremky stations. Read more about the bus schedule in our article.
