Visit Ukraine portal has a lot of tours to the most interesting parts of our country!
Synevyr - the legendary lake of the Carpathians
The main stop of the tour will be Synevyr, the largest and most mysterious lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is located at an altitude of almost 1,000 metres above sea level and is considered one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine.
The water here is always cold, even on the hottest days, and the foggy haze that sometimes envelops the lake creates the atmosphere of a real fairy tale. You can enjoy a walk around the lake and take picturesque photos.
Meet the ruler of the Carpathians - the brown bear
Not far from Synevyr, there is a bear rehabilitation centre - a place where animals that have suffered from abuse or poachers find shelter. Here you will get to know the mighty brown bears, which are a symbol of the Carpathians, and observe their life in the wild.
This is not only interesting but also important, as the centre helps to preserve the population of these animals and bring them back to normal life.
Shypit Waterfall - the Carpathian element in all its glory
Another gem of the route is the Shipot Waterfall, one of the most beautiful and powerful in the Carpathians. Its waters fall from a height of 15 metres, forming cascades of crystal streams.
In spring, the waterfall is especially impressive - snowmelt adds to its strength and makes it even more majestic. This place is filled with the energy of nature and romance, which attracts tourists at any time of the year.
