Here are the step-by-step instructions for filling out an eVisa application:
- To start applying for an Egyptian eVisa, you will need to fill out an online application with details such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, travel dates, and passport details.
- You will also need to answer questions regarding your medical history and criminal record. You should make sure that all the information they provide in the form is accurate, otherwise you risk interrupting your travel plans due to processing delays or visa denial.
- You need to pay the processing fee with a valid debit/credit card to apply for an Egyptian eVisa. You need to pay a consular fee of $25 for a single visit (30 days) and $60 for multiple entries.
- Before submitting your application, you will have the opportunity to review the information you have entered in the form to make sure it is accurate.

Visa on arrival in Egypt
This visa allows you to stay in Egypt for 30 days.
What is the procedure for obtaining a visa to Egypt upon arrival?
1. You need to get a migration card and fill it out in English.
2. In the VISA window, buy an entry stamp and go through passport control without pasting it.
3. Then you need to give your passport with the card and stamp to the border guard.
4. After that, the border guard officer checks the documents and the absence of prohibitions on entry into Egypt, stamps the stamp, marks the border crossing and allows entry into the country.
Please note: The cost of an Egyptian visa is $25, and the border accepts only cash and no change.
The main difference between the e-Visa and the Egyptian visa on arrival is that the latter is available only as a single entry visa valid for a 30-day permanent stay. Those who wish to enter and leave Egypt at different times during a 180-day period must apply for a multiple-entry e-Visa to Egypt before traveling.
Important! If you are delayed, you can depart only from Cairo or Sharm el-Sheikh, paying a fine of $55 or more, depending on the duration of the delay (during the war, Ukrainians are exempt from the fine).
Please note!
If you plan to stay only on the Sinai Peninsula, which is: Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab, Taba, Nuweibe, Ras Sidr, St. Catherine, and El-Tur - when obtaining a visa at the airport, say: “Only Sinai” and your visa for 15 days will be free.
It should be noted that the free visa cannot be extended.
A free 15-day visa will not allow you to travel to Cairo and fly home from an airport outside the Sinai Peninsula.
No visa fee is charged for children who are included in their parents' passports. Be sure to make sure that in this case the visa contains the number “2” - an indication that the child entered with an adult.
To travel to Egypt, please prepare the following documents:
- Passport
- Printed electronic visa (if necessary)
- Travel insurance policy
- Flight itinerary
- Confirmation of hotel reservation
