The repair work on the section between Lybidska and Demiivska stations is still ongoing. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, speaking on Kyiv TV channel, shared news about the progress of repairs on the inaccessible segment of the blue metro line between Lybidska and Demiivska stations.

When will the blue line be reopened?
According to the official, the process is going according to a pre-established plan, and it is expected that work at six stops will be resumed this summer.
"I would like to note that the work on the closed section of the blue line between Lybidska and Demiivska stations is going according to schedule. Therefore, train traffic should be resumed in the summer," Klitschko said.

With these words, the mayor of the capital denied the previously announced fears that the completion of the repair work could be postponed until the fall.
Klitschko also dispelled rumors about the possibility of closing an additional 22 subway stations in Kyiv, saying that no such measures are planned.

In connection with the temporary suspension of the blue line of the Kyiv metro, the Kyiv City State Administration has taken measures to ensure efficient transportation for city residents.
