Rules for entering Peru for Ukrainians
When crossing the border of the country you will have to provide such documents as a passport, which must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry, as well as return tickets with an open date. In special situations, the border guard officer has the right to require proof of hotel reservation, voucher or other proof of solvency.

How much money do you need to enter Peru in 2026?
When planning a trip to Peru, travelers are advised to budget at least USD 30 per day of their stay. There is no specific mandatory amount, but border services may check your funds. Cash and monetary instruments exceeding the equivalent of USD 10,000 must be declared upon entry.
What to do if your foreign passport is about to expire
As of October 29, 2025, Ukraine has abolished the military rule that allowed foreign passports to be extended and information about children to be added to them.
Now, a valid biometric passport is required to travel abroad.
If your document has been extended or information about children has been added to it, you must apply for a new foreign passport.
Where to obtain a new passport
- In Ukraine: at DMS, CNAA offices, or at branches of DP “Document”.
- Abroad: at embassies or consulates of Ukraine, as well as at branches of DP ‘Document’, if they operate in your country.
If you are abroad and have an “extended” passport
If border guards do not let you leave or enter the country with an “extended” document, contact the nearest Ukrainian embassy or consulate.
There you can apply for an identity card for return to Ukraine (“white passport”). It is issued on the day of application — free of charge for children under 16 and for a consular fee for adults.
Temporary transit is allowed.
