The illegal transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia and the temporarily occupied territories remains a separate humanitarian issue. Ukrainian authorities and international organizations have repeatedly reported thousands of cases of deportation and forced removal of children, which have become the subject of investigations by international institutions.

Behind the dry statistics lie real human stories. Every number represents a child who will never return to their family, never go to school, never fulfill their dreams, and never see the future that was supposed to lie ahead.
