The group arrives in Verkhovyna and starts with the Museum of Musical Instruments. This is more than just a boring museum. It is always an improvisation. You will learn a lot of new and interesting details about the life of Hutsuls, their holidays and original art. (1 hour)
During this day we will use a GAZ 66, a Soviet 4×4 truck, a modern vehicle for local roads. We will drive for about 30 minutes through the mountains.
Our next stop will be the house of a real Hutsul family. This is a great opportunity to see the life of real Hutsuls in real colors. Our guests will see their vegetable garden, where they keep cattle, pigs, chickens, horses, sheep, bees... how they cook food, where they smoke meat, what a typical Hutsul cellar looks like, and so on. In addition, you can buy homemade stew or lard. Taking pictures in Hutsul clothes, etc. (1 hour)
We will drive about 20 minutes to the next stop, and it will be...
Traditional Hutsul lunch accompanied by a concert of Hutsul music. Great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. Our lunch menu offers the best local dishes cooked over a fire: lamb kebab, shurpa, banosh, mushrooms in sour cream, vegetable slices, cheese and slices, moonshine and local liqueurs. All this deliciousness is accompanied by instrumental music - a private performance of Carpathian folk musicians. (2 hours)
Trucks will take us to the center of Verkhovyna in about 30 minutes. End.
