Ukraine canceled self-isolation when crossing checkpoints

By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 29, 2021 No. 1407, the requirement of self-isolation for persons entering Ukraine through the checkpoint from the temporarily occupied territories was canceled. Now travelers do not need to install the Vdoma mobile application and, accordingly, do testing in Ukraine or go through self-isolation.
This applies to both checkpoints of entry from the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
That is, both Ukrainians and foreign citizens, regardless of the vaccination status, can cross the administrative borders to enter Ukraine with the temporarily occupied territories and Crimea without quarantine.
However, the requirement remains in force for foreign citizens to have an insurance policy that covers the treatment of coronavirus, and one of the documents:
• a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination with vaccines included by WHO in the list of approved for use in emergency situations; or
• a foreign COVID certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19 with 1, 2 or more doses of vaccine included by the WHO in the list of approved for use in emergency situations, or a negative PCR test result, or recovery from COVID-19; or
• negative result of a PCR test or a rapid antigen test, made no more than 72 hours before entry.
The tests are not needed for vaccinated individuals, those with covid proof of recovery from COVID-19, and children under 12.
Citizens of Ukraine and holders of a permanent residence permit do not require any additional documents.
