Emergency power outages continue in Ukraine. In connection with this, citizens may have to deal with the problem of lack of communication. Sometimes it affects a person's life, but there are times when communication can save the life of you or your loved ones. We tell you how to call the "emergency" if the connection has disappeared in your region.

Recommendations of the Ministry of Health for all regions:

Against the background of cases of disconnection of mobile communications, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine presented instructions for emergency calls to doctors or ambulance crews.

How to do it?

1. landline phone 649000;

2. messengers Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. (to contact friends/relatives for further calling an ambulance);

3. chat on the website of the Ministry of Health;

4. telephone as radio communication using the example of a walkie-talkie. To do this, you need to install one of the following programs: Voxer Walkie Talkie, Walkie Talkie, Two Way: Walkie Talkie (as in point 2).

In the absence of communication and access to the Internet, the department also recommends, if possible, to move to buildings equipped with telephone and/or radio communication. For example, these are local self-government bodies, post offices, fire and rescue units, police departments and others.

In the meantime, "Kyivstar" subscribers have the option of calling the number 10003 by "quick" SMS. Enter information about the reason for the call, the full address (number of the house, entrance, apartment and floor), contact phone number, full name and age of the patient.
