Financial assistance from the UN: the acceptance of applications in Ukraine has been resumed

Registration points for financial assistance from the UN have resumed work in some regions of Ukraine. Learn more about where the opportunity to apply for funds has reappeared and how to do it

The UN Refugee Agency will continue to pay aid to Ukrainians. Registration and data collection is currently open to provide financial support to families in need of additional support.


Who can receive financial assistance?


Not everyone can receive a payment – an applicant must meet the following criteria:


• Be an internally displaced person from vulnerable population categories;

• live in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Odesa, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy regions (it is not necessary to be the IDP);

• suffer from military actions;

• return home from another city of Ukraine or from abroad;

• not previously receiving assistance from international organizations;

• have an income less than UAH 5,400 per person.


Vulnerable categories of the population can also apply for assistance. The list includes families:


• which consist of only one parent (father or mother) and minor children or people older than 55 years;

• headed by a single or several single elderly residents;

• headed by an elderly person with a minor child or children;

• with people who have special needs (for example, disability or chronic diseases);

• who take care of unaccompanied or children separated from parents (notarized confirmation is required in this case).


What is the amount of assistance?


You can get UAH 2,200 from the UN for each family member.


How long will the aid be paid?


Those whose payments are confirmed will receive benefits during three months.

Check-in and mobile registration points operate in some regions of the country. Currently, you can register at the following addresses:


Dnipropetrovsk region:


• Dnipro, st. Starokozatska, 38. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00;

• Kryvyi Rih, Myru Avenue, 28, behind the "1st City Hospital" stop, phone: +38 (068) 473-96-19. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00;

Zaporizhzhia region:


• Zaporizhzhia, str. Independent Ukraine, 72, room No. 154 (entrance from Mayakovsky Square). Working hours: from Monday to Friday, 09:00-15:00. Registration by appointment only - call +38 063 387 93 16 (Mon-Fri 09:00-15:00);

Kirovohrad region:


• Kropyvnytskyi, st. Pashutynska, 31-a, office premises (near the Administrative Services Center), phone: (050) 711 63 50. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00;

Lviv region:


• Lviv, str. Stryyska, 45v. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00;

Odesa region:


• Odesa, Sabanskii lane, 3 (entrance from the lane). Working hours: from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.;

• Izmail, Ave. Myru, 9 (building of Izmail State University, room No. 108). Working hours: from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00;

Poltava region:


• Poltava, Pavlenkivska square, 3b. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00;

• Kremenchuk, str. Vatutina, 9. Working hours: from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00;

Sumy region:


• Sumy, st. Novomistenska, 1. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00;

• You can follow the schedule of mobile groups in the region in the Telegram channel.


Kharkiv region:


• Kharkiv, str. Gymnasium Embankment, 26, premises of the Central Center of Administrative Services. Enrollment in the electronic queue is carried out through the Telegram channel.


Chernihiv region


• Chernihiv, str. Pyatnytska, 49. Working hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00. The maximum number of applications is currently accepted. The renewal of registration will be notified in the Telegram channel. Here you can also monitor the schedule of mobile groups in the region.


Cherkasy region:


• Cherkasy, str. Lazareva, 6/1 (near the regional state administration, the "Soborna ploshcha" transport stop). Working hours: from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, phone: (093) 191-01-20;
