• During the daily speech president Volodymyr Zelenskiy confirmed the willingness of the Armed forces of Ukraine to continue defending the sovereign territory of Ukraine and emphasized that much of the trophy military equipment will be utilized against the enemy. He also addressed Russian soldiers and military officers, stating that they have a chance to survive in this war if they return home now.

 • The Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereschuk reported that the civilians are being evacuated in Sumy, the city in Northeastern Ukraine, where residential buildings were wiped out and people inside them slaughtered. For a few days civilians had no opportunity to live in their homes because of recurring shellings that threatened their lives. Around 5,700 people were evacuated from the city today, 1,700 foreign students among them. Also, according to Head of the City Council Dmytro Orlov's Telegram channel, the evacuation of residents of Energodar, a city to the southeast of Zaporizhzhia, from the continuous Russia's armed aggression, has begun. This city, where the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been shelled, was earlier captured by Russian military, "Green corridors" for evacuation from the cities, that still suffer from air raids and humanitarian catastrophes, have been opened in the north of Ukraine, in Kyiv region. Occupants have violated the agreement and blocked the movement of about 50 buses during the evacuation.

• The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Culeba reported on Twitter that the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant has been de-energized and that the only power line leading to the plant has been damaged. Also, the minister pleaded for the international community to urge Russia to cease fire and allow the repair brigades to renew power supply, so that the 20,000 fuel pins can be cooled down. In case of heating and evaporation of radioactive compounds, the radioactive cloud might be carried to other regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Europe. International Atomic Energy Agency has already stated that they do not receive the data of the system that monitors the nuclear materials at the power plant.

 • The city of Mariupol in the southeast of Ukraine has been suffering from blockade and the humanitarian catastrophe for the 8th day in a row . Residents have no access to sufficient life-supporting supplies of food and water. Humanitarian corridors for leaving the city do not work as intended due to terrorist attacks by Russian military and shellings of civilians. President Zelenskiy reported that a maternity home was bombarded in the city and once again addressed the foreign diplomats with a demand to close the airspace over Ukraine.
