After the start of the full-scale invasion of russia, Ukraine called for volunteers to join the defense of the security of the entire world. On February 24, 2022, russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine. The russian army attacks the civilian population and infrastructure of Ukraine every day. Millions of Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes, many people lost loved ones, were injured or left homeless.
With its terrible war, russia challenged not only Ukraine, but the entire civilized world in which peace, honesty, justice and respect reign. Anyone can defend real human values. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, created the International Legion, which can be joined by a foreigner who wants to fight for global security and defend Ukraine, Europe and the whole world side by side with Ukrainians.

What are the conditions for joining the International Defense Legion of Ukraine?


A foreigner between the ages of 18 and 60 who has combat experience and no criminal record can join the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine.

How to join the International Legion?


Today, Ukraine has a new simplified procedure for joining the International Legion. To apply for membership, a candidate must take 4 steps:
1. Download and fill out a special form on the International Legion website - https://ildu.com.ua/.
2. Scan the passport.
3. Scan documents confirming military or combat experience (if any).
4. Send the completed application form and scans of documents to [email protected].
