The Czech Republic is introducing an unlimited train pass for the summer. Earlier, Germany, Hungary and other European countries also introduced free tickets. This is reported by CD.cz.


 It is noted that ticket sales began on June 15.


Unlimited travel passes for the summer period in the Czech Republic: Details


New travel tickets from České dráhy (Czech Railways) are mainly aimed at tourists. After all, traveling in the Czech Republic by train is very convenient.


The pass allows you to use trains for any distance. Also, with this ticket you can get on and off the train at any point.


Please note! An unlimited ticket can be purchased only for the period from July 1 to August 31.

How much does a summer unlimited travel card cost in the Czech Republic?


The cost of an unlimited travel card is EUR 58 for 7 days and EUR 84 for 14 days. 


Children, students, pensioners, and people with disabilities have a reduced price - 29 EUR for 7 days and 42 EUR for 14 days.


How do I use the summer pass?


The ticket entitles you to travel on ČD trains throughout the Czech Republic for 7 or 14 days without any distance limit within the country and without any limit on the number of trips. 


You can also get on and off trains at any time. The pass is valid only in July and August 2023.


Important! The ticket is personalized, so it can be used by only one person.


As a reminder, Ukrainians who have found refuge abroad come back to Ukraine from time to time. Foreigners also remain interested and continue to plan trips.
