Ukrainian railways - innovations
Another innovation implemented by Ukrzaliznytsia to improve the quality and safety of travel is the use of secret marshals on trains.
In October, it became known that this initiative is intended to ensure the maximum level of passenger safety and comfort.
Railway marshals are employees of the company's paramilitary security service who have extensive experience and skills in security and law enforcement. Their main task is to control the security situation in passenger transportation and respond in a timely manner if necessary.
An important feature of the work of these marshals is their secret nature. Unlike security guards who work at railroad facilities in uniform and are visible to passengers, marshals work anonymously. This means that passengers will not know who exactly is among them as a catcher of offenders.
This approach helps to maintain order and safety without unnecessary distraction. The marshals are able to respond discreetly and effectively to any situation that may arise during the trip, thus ensuring peace of mind and safety for everyone on board.
