The Pompeii Archaeological Park and the Museum of Church Heritage in Vilnius have Ukrainian-language audio guides. Now our citizens will be able to visit museums and listen to guided tours in their native language.

Olena Zelenska expressed gratitude to the countries for their support of the Ukrainian language and their significant contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage. The First Lady believes that this step is primarily intended to increase the comfort of Ukrainians and is a manifestation of respect for the language.

In our previous article, we told you that Finnair is canceling almost 300 flights in December.

How to use Ukrainian audio in the Pompeii Archaeological Park?

The Ukrainian audio of excursions in this museum is presented in the form of the MyPompeii mobile application. Thanks to this, Ukrainians in Naples will be able to conveniently learn about the history of the ancient Roman city in their native language.

Olena Zelenska notes that the Pompeii Archaeological Park is a monument to the entire ancient Roman city and the residents who died with it due to the volcanic eruption. This is not the kind of museum that is associated with the word “entertainment.” It is about the death of people, no matter how long ago they lived.

You can also now listen to guided tours in Ukrainian at the Museum of Church Heritage in Vilnius. Ukrainians can listen to stories of the rescue of ancient treasures of the Lithuanian cathedral, which were walled up during World War II. They were found only in the 1980s.

The First Lady emphasized that the project is another proof that national heritage does not die, but returns to the peoples to whom it belongs. And no wars will prevent the preservation of culture and memory.
