Ukrainian refugees will be provided with free housing in one of the regions of Poland

Seventeen communities from Opole Voivodeship of Poland will provide 49 accommodations for refugees from Ukraine. According to preliminary estimates, they will be able to accommodate more than 200 people.


The mechanism and conditions of the provision of social housing for Ukrainian refugees will be decided by each community separately. It is assumed that the housing will be provided for a period of 2 years.


Communities which have agreed to provide housing for Ukrainians:


Strzelce Opolskie (8 premises)

Kluczbork (7 premises)

Dobrozen (6 premises)

Olesno (3 premises)

Biała (2 premises)

Brzeg (2 premises)

Dobrozen Wielki (2 premises)

Głubczyce (2 premises)

Gruholazy (2 premises)

Lečnica (2 rooms)

Nisa (2 premises)

Pachków (2 premises)

Popielów (2 rooms)

Prudnik (2 rooms)

Strzelecki (2 premises)

Wolczyń (2 premises)

Ujazd (1premises))


In the municipalities of Pachków and Ujazd they are working to increase the number of accommodations provided. 6 million zlotys have been allocated for the implementation of this project in Opolskie voivodeship.

Housing for refugees will be between 40 and 50 square meters. The apartments will be renovated and the necessary furniture and appliances will be purchased before they are moved in.
