Ukrainians continue to massively buy generators not only within the country, but also abroad. Some citizens are ready to pay a lot of money to have an electricity generation system at home against the backdrop of mass blackouts. In this regard, in some cities of Ukraine, the authorities have implemented a program according to which you can be reimbursed for the purchase of an electric generator. We tell you what is needed for this.

Who can receive compensation for the purchase of a generator in Kyiv?

It is noted that the compensation will not be paid if the generator buys a natural person, for example, if the residents of the house decided to dump money and buy equipment.

Who will be paid?

• Association of co-owners of an apartment building;

• Housing and maintenance office.

According to the rules, the request for compensation must be sent from a legal entity.

Step-by-step algorithm for receiving compensation:

1. Choose a technique:

• the type of device must be determined by a specialist;

• consult about capacity;

• determine the required number of devices.

2. Pay for the purchase:

• payment through a banking institution;

• the legal entity must pay.

3. Submit documents to the District state administration:

• application for partial compensation;

• a certified copy of an extract from the Unified state register;

• if the association of co-owners of an apartment building/housing and building cooperative has not been created - a copy of the protocol of the co-owners on the selection of the manager;

• a certified copy of the invoice for the device.

4. Get compensation:

• compensate 75% of the cost of the device;

• the maximum amount of compensation is 80 thousand hryvnias;

• the money will arrive within 2 months.

Compensation for the purchase of a generator in Lviv

In Lviv, the procedure for receiving compensation is similar. However, the amount of compensation is 50% of the price, and the maximum amount of compensation is UAH 30,000.

At the same time, owners of small and medium-sized businesses in Lviv, who work in the field of restaurant business and retail trade of food products, will be given a voucher for partial compensation of the cost of purchasing an electric generator.

How to get compensation for the purchase of an electric generator in Sumy?

In Sumy, the generator cost compensation project provides reimbursement for the purchase of equipment with a capacity of 3 kW or more for buildings with three floors and above, as well as two-story buildings built before 1993. The amount of compensation is no more than 50% and no more than UAH 50,000.

Compensation for the purchase of a generator in Odessa

Here, the city hall made a decision to return up to 70% of the cost of generators, but no more than UAH 100,000. To receive compensation, you should contact the district administration with checks.

At the same time, compensation is provided only for generators that were purchased by non-cash payment and those that were purchased during martial law.

Compensation for the purchase of a generator in Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Poltava

City administrations promise partial compensation – up to 80% of the cost of the generator will be returned to Chernivtsi, and up to 50% in Ternopil.

In Poltava, the program provides compensation for the purchase of electric generators in buildings with 2 floors or more. The amount cannot exceed 50% of the cost, but no more than UAH 80,000. There are also power requirements.
