Czech railroad company RegioJet, in cooperation with Ukrzaliznytsia, is introducing single tickets from Prague to Kharkiv, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro without a stopover.

According to the Czech newspaper Zdopravy, citing the carrier's press release, the decision was made against the backdrop of an agreement with UZ to expand cooperation in ticket sales to Ukraine.

How can I use the single tickets for trains from the Czech Republic to Ukraine?

With this ticket, passengers will be able to travel from Prague to Ukraine regardless of connections and transfers. In particular, the opportunity includes traveling by night train from Prague to Przemysl. On the spot, it is necessary to change to Ukrzaliznytsia trains up to the destination in Ukraine.

Please note! You do not need to buy a new ticket - it is valid on the Ukrainian part of the route.

How much does a single ticket cost for a train from the Czech Republic to Ukraine?

The price of a one-way ticket to the farthest point, Zaporizhzhia, starts from 70.9 euros. Tickets to Kharkiv are available at a price of 69.2 euros. From Prague to Dnipro - 68 euros, and from Prague to Poltava - 65 euros.

As you know, on March 28, 2022, Ukrzaliznytsia, together with the Czech Railways, organized a free additional evacuation flight that allowed people to leave the Czech Republic and return to the Lviv region.

In addition, in June 2022, RegioJet launched a daily night train service from Prague to Przemysl, with a subsequent transfer to UZ trains to Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv.

During the first year of operation of the Prague-Premierzl route, the company's trains carried 110 thousand passengers.

We remind you! Anyone can travel from the Czech Republic to Ukraine. However, the absence of air travel reduces the number of possible ways to get to the country. However, the country's land borders are open, so we have prepared routes to enter Ukraine from the Czech Republic. Details are available here.
