Rise up in the dirt

The mural "Rise up in the dirt" can be found in Kyiv, on the building of the Pechersk District Police Department. This is the first mural in the world to be located on a police building. The author of this work of art is the American artist BKfoxx from New York. In November 2017, the mural became one of the best works of street art according to the world edition of Streetart.Today.

The author has put an important meaning into her work - the most beautiful things in the world can appear in the most humble circumstances, you just need to put effort and work into it.

Milan

The Milan mural, created in 2018 in the city of Mariupol, has become a national symbol of hope and faith for the whole of Ukraine. After all, it depicts not just a little girl with a soft toy - it is a child who survived the horrific circumstances in 2015. The mother saved the girl at the cost of her own life by covering her with her body during the shelling of Mariupol by russian troops. The child lost her leg and was orphaned because of russia's armed aggression, and this is just one of hundreds of thousands of examples of tragedies caused by russia.

But unfortunately, today the meaning of this drawing has acquired an even more tragic meaning, because the russian occupiers cynically erased it from the face of the earth. Today the house looks like this.

Two elements

An amazing mural can be seen on one of the buildings of the Odesa sanatorium. It depicts a horse that is visually divided into two parts, symbolizing the power and balance of nature - earth and water. One part of the picture is decorated with various elements of the underwater world, the other with flowers and plants. The mural harmoniously combines the richness and elegance of nature.

In 2018, the mural received the status of one of the best representatives of street art in the world according to the online publication StreetArt360.

Berehynia

The mural "Berehynia" is located in Kyiv on Independence Square, which is a significant place because it was there that the Revolution of Dignity began in 2014.

"Berehynia" is another important symbol for Ukrainians, because the woman depicted in the picture among the bright sunflowers is the goddess of goodness, who protects humanity from evil, protects homes, children and family warmth.
