Events, festivals and traditions: how Halloween is celebrated around the world - read here.

Transylvania, Romania

No Halloween list would be complete without a visit to the homeland of Count Dracula. This place is definitely worth visiting if you like spooky stories and are fascinated by vampires, especially the notorious ones.

One of the best places to visit in Transylvania is Bran Castle, also known as "Dracula's Castle". With its spooky caves, foggy surroundings, and gothic architecture, it's the perfect place for a Halloween adventure.

This year's party at Dracula's Castle will take place on October 28, and tickets can be purchased online or at the venue.

Copenhagen, Denmark

There are plenty of things to do in Denmark on Halloween. In particular, Tivoli Park is a star attraction that becomes like a magical wonderland with 20,000 pumpkins that turn into lanterns every year and an open-air market.

There are other great places to celebrate Halloween in Europe, but Copenhagen with Tivoli Park guarantees an unforgettable holiday experience.

Dublin, Ireland

Halloween originated in Dublin more than 2,000 years ago with a pagan festival called Samhain.

From October 27 to 30, the Bram Stoker Festival will be held in Dublin. The festival will feature theater performances, DJs, live music, literary workshops, a free parade, and much more. On October 31, the Bram Stoker Festival will host a parade that will add even more mystery to Dublin's Halloween celebration.

For those looking for a real scare, the Dublin Kingdom of Nightmares is the place to go. With five spooky mazes that promise chills and an unrivaled experience. The festival proudly received the title of "Best Horror Park in Europe" in 2022.

Londonderry, Northern Ireland

Londonderry holds a special place in the world of Halloween destinations. In 2015, it was awarded the prestigious title of "Best Place to Celebrate Halloween" by USA Today and continues to attract travelers from all over the world every year.

Halloween 2023 in Delhi will be the 35th year of the celebration, which will last from October 28 to 31. At this time, the city itself turns into a stage where the past and the present are gracefully intertwined.

But the real magic happens during the grandiose final fireworks display, when the night sky turns into a mesmerizing canvas illuminated by the heavenly flames.

The carnival culminates on the evening of Tuesday, October 31, when the city's most famous performers come together to create a spectacle that masterfully blends magic and chaos.

London, England

Once inside the Saw's underground lair in London, you'll have to put your wits to the test as you solve mysterious riddles to free one of the iconic monster's prisoners. Along the way, you can meet pig-headed creatures and intricate quests that will not leave you indifferent.

For an enchanting Halloween experience, visit The Thin White Duke's Halloween party at a cocktail bar in Soho. Inspired by the legendary fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, this event will take you to a magical world.

On Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28, burlesque performer Miss Betsy Rose will enchant the audience with her enchanting show. Fans of mystery and history can join Jack the Ripper on the historic streets of Whitechapel and Brick Lane.

Prague, Czech Republic

Wandering around the city, you will definitely notice the most attractive sights of the October holiday. The Old Jewish Cemetery and the Torture Museum, where time seems to have stopped, will plunge everyone into the darkness of history.

Ossuary Sedlec, an eerie chapel decorated with human bones, offers a glimpse into a gruesome world. On the other side of the Charles Bridge, the sculptures lining both sides of the bridge testify to centuries of history.

For the fifth year in a row, the Prague Halloween Festival begins on October 28, inviting enthusiasts to join the biggest three-day club mega-party of the month with nine top DJs and an amazing costume contest.

Berlin, Germany

An adventure awaits you that will immerse you in the city's 600 years of spooky history. While professional actors bring authentic stories to life, you'll be able to stroll through ten carefully recreated sets, including magical raft rides and an indoor free-fall tower.

Best of all, all the stories and characters are based on real events and people.

But Halloween in Berlin is not all about dark dungeons. When the sun goes down and the city plunges into night, people dressed as zombies and ghosts come out of the shadows to cause a real wave of terror in the streets.

The most anticipated events are the Zombie Run and the Zombie Flash, a lively nighttime party.

When celebrating the special Halloween holiday in the mentioned mystical cities, where fantasy intertwines with reality, it is important to have access to the most convenient means of transportation. Trains, buses and airplanes are the perfect way to get to unique locations. You can choose tickets between cities around the world here

And to make your trip even safer and more comfortable, we recommend that you take care of reliable insurance that will protect you from unexpected expenses during your vacation. You can buy insurance quickly and easily online here.
