The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has updated the procedure for registering for the electronic queue at consulates. The new method of registration for Ukrainians abroad now includes the possibility of using electronic identification, which was introduced on November 15. This was reported by representatives of the Consulate of Ukraine in Gdansk,

It is noted that this improved authorization mechanism simplifies the registration in the electronic queue and minimizes the risk of cyber fraud.

"In order to improve access to consular services, your security and to prevent cases of cyber fraud, registration in the electronic queue will be subject to electronic identification of the visitor, using e-signatures (on file, cloud or other secure media), Diia.Signature and BankID of the NBU," the agency said.

This identification provides for the introduction of remote services, which makes it possible to receive consular services without leaving home.

"We ask you to prepare in advance for the use of electronic identification means," the consulate said in a statement.

Electronic identification means are provided through the ID.GOV.UA platform. Citizens can log in by choosing one of the available options, such as e-signatures, Diia.Signature, BankID of the NBU.

It is noted that the transfer of records from the previous version of the electronic queue may lead to a slight delay in the implementation of the new authorization mechanism.
