Moldova has announced the extension of the period of temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens staying on its territory.

According to the press service of the Moldovan government, temporary protection for Ukrainian IDPs will be automatically extended, including the validity of identity documents.

Ukrainian refugees will be able to stay legally in Moldova for another year

It is noted that the protection will be extended for one year, from March 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025.

As you know, beneficiaries of temporary protection in Moldova will be able to find legal employment in the country without the need to obtain a temporary residence permit, subject to registration at the local branch of the National Employment Agency.
