Refugees from Ukraine will find it more profitable to do business in Poland: details
The Ministry of Finance of Poland plans to reduce the VAT tax rate from 23% to 8% for a number of services, including beauty services, where many Ukrainian women work, starting April 1. Currently, 8% VAT is paid only for hairdressing services.
From the beginning of April, the tax cut will also apply to entrepreneurs who provide services that do not require special medical knowledge. These include, in particular:
• facials and makeup;
• manicure and pedicure;
• cosmetic procedures for eyebrows and eyelashes;
• ear piercing;
• consultations on appearance and makeup care;
• body care
• depilation;
• ultraviolet and infrared irradiation.
The VAT tax of 23% will remain unchanged for services in the areas of tattooing, piercing, solarium, massage and plastic surgery.
This tax cut is expected to stimulate the legalization of beauty businesses. In particular, those who provide services will be able to reduce their cost for their clients.
